Job Title: Senior Data Analyst

Location: San Jose Ca - Onsite or Hybrid

Monday - Friday 

Pay Range $35.00-$44.00 HR

 

1. Responsibilities:
   1. Conduct community needs assessment analyses to evaluate our non profit client programs and services in relation to diverse community needs.
   2. Perform geospatial analysis projects using ArcGIS to support service area evaluation, program planning, and community impact assessments.
   3. Analyze attendance and utilization data for free grocery distribution sites undergoing operational changes (e.g., schedule adjustments, relocations, modified hours, or closures) to assess potential community impact and inform transition planning.
   4. Collaborate cross-functionally with internal staff and stakeholders to provide data insights, operational recommendations, and analytical support for program initiatives.
   5. Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, maps, and data visualizations to support organizational planning and decision-making.
   6. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across analyses and reporting tools.
   7. Present findings and recommendations in a clear and accessible manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
   8. Assist with continuous improvement initiatives related to program operations, community impact measurement, and service delivery effectiveness.
2. 1. Required Experience/Qualifications:
      1. R, python, or similar
      2. Excel – intermediate/advanced
      3. ArcGIS (or general geospatial analysis)
      4. Statistical analysis
      5. SQL
      6. PowerBI, Tableau or similar
      7. Data equity lens and ability to analyze data with a compassionate, neighbor-centric view
      8. Ability to synthesize and communicate complex data into actionable insights for a diverse, non-technical audience
   2. Preferred Experience/Qualifications, if applicable:
      1. Public health background
      2. Qualitative analysis background – familiarity with CAQDAS tools, thematic analysis
