Production Associate – First Shift

Light Industrial | Sycamore, IL | Evaluation Hire
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Pay: $20.00 per hour

A top local employer in Sycamore, IL, is seeking dependable Production Associates for its first-shift manufacturing team. This position involves operating production equipment, assembling electrical wiring components, inspecting finished products, and preparing items for shipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate multiple production machines.
  • Assemble wire caps and other electrical wiring components.
  • Sort, count, inspect, and package finished products.
  • Pick and pack products accurately.
  • Perform visual quality-control inspections.
  • Use basic hand and power tools, including screw guns.
  • Label products and verify quantities and part numbers.
  • Meet daily production and quality goals.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow all safety procedures and work instructions.

Qualifications:

  • Previous manufacturing experience is required.
  • Ability to learn new processes quickly.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Dependable attendance, punctuality, and reliability.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:

  • Stand and walk throughout the shift.
  • Perform repetitive hand and arm movements.
  • Frequently bend, reach, and lift.
  • Lift and move materials as required.
  • Work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
