Express Employment Professionals of San Bernardino is seeking an Inside Sales Representative for a company specializing in metal products. This is a great opportunity for someone with 2+ years of sales, inside sales, or customer service experience who is ready to continue developing their sales career.

Previous experience in the metal, steel, manufacturing, or industrial supply industry is a plus but not required. The company is willing to train a strong sales professional on its products and industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer inbound sales calls and respond to customer email inquiries.
• Assist customers with questions regarding metal products, stock availability, pricing, and lead times.
• Accurately enter sales orders, price quotes, and customer information into the order management system.
• Calculate and prepare customer price quotes using established pricing matrices and guidance from senior sales staff.
• Follow up with customers regarding quotes, orders, product availability, and delivery information.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customer accounts through responsive communication and reliable follow-through.
• Collaborate with the sales and warehouse teams to ensure orders are accurate, fulfilled correctly, and delivered on time.
• Provide excellent customer service throughout the sales and order fulfillment process.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 2+ years of sales, inside sales, sales support, or customer service experience preferred.
• Previous metal, steel, manufacturing, construction supply, or industrial products experience is a plus, but not required.
• Comfortable working with pricing, quotes, sales orders, and customer accounts.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills.
• Ability to learn new products, pricing structures, and order management systems.
• Organized with the ability to manage multiple customer requests and priorities.
• Dependable with strong follow-through and a willingness to learn.

Ideal Candidate

We're looking for someone who already has a foundation in sales and customer service but doesn't necessarily have years of metal industry experience. If you're comfortable speaking with customers, preparing quotes, entering orders, and following through from inquiry to delivery, the company can provide training on its specific metal products and processes.
