Pay: $26.58/hour

 

Our client is seeking a Powder Painter (willing to train) to join their company in Rochester, MN! You will powder coat parts while maintaining quality, safety, and productivity requirements.  You will also maintain and clean the paint booth and powder application equipment.

 

Job Duties:

• Apply powder coating using various powder application equipment as directed by the supervisor.
• Adjust equipment to maintain the required thickness of powder application.
• Prepare surfaces of parts for powder application by using various methods, i.e., cleaning, sanding, masking, caulking, etc.
• Load and unload parts.
• Maintain and clean paint booth and powder application equipment.
• Maintain quality, safety, and productivity.
• Maintain a clean and neat work area.
• Report labor and job data accurately.
• Perform other jobs within the department or plant as required by supervision.

 Requirements:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills  
• be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 34 lbs. and frequently up to 50 lbs
• Ability to read prints and other specification documentation
