Express Employment Professionals is now hiring Stick/Wire Welders for a premier structural steel fabrication company in Apache Junction, AZ. Our client specializes in custom steel structures, RV storage canopies, carports, metal buildings, architectural steel, and structural steel fabrication and installation.

Full-time | Monday-Friday

Position Summary

We are seeking experienced Stick/Wire Welders to join a growing structural steel fabrication team. This position requires welding, fitting, fabrication, and assembly of structural steel components used in commercial and industrial projects. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fabrication shop and occasional field installation environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform Stick (SMAW) and Wire/MIG (GMAW/FCAW) welding on structural steel components
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and measuring tools
• Fabricate, fit, and assemble steel structures and canopy systems
• Operate grinders, saws, torches, and other fabrication equipment
• Inspect welds for quality and compliance with specifications
• Assist with steel installation and erection projects as needed
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment
• Follow OSHA and company safety procedures

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Stick and/or Wire welding experience
• Structural steel fabrication experience preferred
• Ability to read tape measures and blueprints
• Experience using fabrication and metalworking tools
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Welding certifications
• Steel erection or installation experience
• Forklift and aerial lift experience
