Non-Conforming Quality Technician

We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented Non-Conforming Quality Technician to manage products that have been identified as non-sellable. This position requires someone with strong organization, initiative, and a sense of urgency who can accurately manage and track product.

Position Summary

The Non-Conforming Quality Technician will receive, organize, track, and process products that cannot currently be sold. This person will maintain the non-conforming product area and ensure each item is accurately stored and processed based on its final disposition.

Essential Functions / Job Responsibilities

• Receive and organize non-conforming products into designated grid locations
• Accurately track product and storage locations in the internal system
• Regrade products and return usable items to inventory
• Coordinate products requiring rework or supplier return
• Process products designated for scrap
• Prioritize items that need to be returned to stock quickly, especially backordered products
• Maintain an organized and accurate non-conforming product area

Skills Required

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Good energy, initiative, and sense of urgency
• Ability to accurately track products and locations
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn internal systems
• Ability to follow established processes and instructions
• Dependable and comfortable working independently
• Ability to lift and handle parts up to approximately 40 lbs.

Experience Required

Previous warehouse, inventory, quality, parts, or material-handling experience is preferred. Advanced computer or Excel experience is not required—the computer portion of the position can be taught.
