We are seeking a reliable and motivated Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our team. This position is responsible for safely loading and unloading deliveries, managing incoming and outgoing shipments, and maintaining accurate shipping and receiving documentation. The ideal candidate will have experience operating material handling equipment and be comfortable working with computer-based inventory and shipping systems.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and overhead cranes to load and unload trucks for shipments and deliveries.
• Receive, inspect, and process incoming materials and parts.
• Prepare and ship outgoing orders using carriers such as UPS, FedEx, and other freight services.
• Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records.
• Verify shipment contents against packing slips and purchase orders.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely movement of materials.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies regarding material handling and shipping operations.
• Keep the shipping and receiving area organized and clean.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in shipping and receiving preferred.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift and overhead crane (certification preferred or willingness to obtain certification).
• Experience with UPS, FedEx, and other shipping platforms.
• Knowledge of ERP systems and computer-based inventory management is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift, move, and handle materials in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Dependable work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour, based on experience.
• Full-time position.
• Regular schedule: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
