A local property management company in Corvallis is seeking an experienced Painter to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys painting and is looking to build a long-term career in the painting and property maintenance industry.
The Property Management Painter will be responsible for maintaining the appearance and quality of residential and commercial properties through professional painting, surface preparation, and general property maintenance. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, and can work independently while maintaining high-quality standards.
Perform interior and exterior painting for residential, commercial, and common areas.
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, patching, caulking, and priming as needed.
Apply paint using brushes, rollers, sprayers, and other professional painting equipment.
Match colors and ensure clean, consistent, professional finishes.
Protect floors, furniture, fixtures, and surrounding areas during painting projects.
Perform touch-ups and routine painting maintenance as needed.
Identify and address minor surface damage prior to painting.
Maintain painting tools, equipment, and work areas.
Follow all company safety procedures and applicable regulations.
Complete projects efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
Assist with basic property maintenance and repairs as needed.
Previous professional painting experience is required.
Strong knowledge of painting techniques, surface preparation, and different paint types.
Proficiency using sanders, brushes, rollers, spray guns, and other painting tools.
Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
Must be interested in pursuing painting as a long-term career, not just temporary work.
Basic carpentry, drywall, and general repair skills are a plus.
The ideal candidate is an experienced painter who enjoys the trade, takes pride in producing quality work, and is interested in developing their skills and building a long-term career with a property maintenance company.
