Express Employment Professionals is now hiring a full-time Line Lead in Bowling Green, KY for Day Shift – 7:00am-5:00pm, Monday-Thursday. Pay Rate: $20.00. Interested candidates should have previous manufacturing, bottling, production, warehouse, or industrial experience. The position is Evaluation Hire.

Responsibilities of the Line Lead:

• Lead and coordinate daily activities for assigned production and bottling lines.
• Ensure the production line is properly set up and ready for scheduled production.
• Follow daily production schedules and ensure production targets are achieved.
• Monitor line speed, efficiency, downtime, production quantities, and product changeovers.
• Ensure bottles, caps, labels, cartons, cases, and other packaging materials are available and properly staged.
• Monitor product flow from filling through packaging, case packing, palletizing, and finished goods.
• Ensure products are packaged according to established specifications and customer requirements.
• Perform and oversee line changeovers, including cleaning and preparation between products.
• Identify production bottlenecks and work with management and maintenance to resolve issues.
• Minimize downtime, waste, product loss, and packaging material usage.
• Communicate production delays, equipment issues, material shortages, and other concerns to the Production Supervisor or Manager

Requirements of the Line Lead:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• 2+ years of manufacturing, bottling, production, warehouse, or industrial experience preferred.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred.
• Experience in distilled spirits, beverage alcohol, food and beverage, or another regulated manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic production equipment.
• Ability to read and follow SOPs, production instructions, and quality specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify production and quality issues.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn production and inventory systems.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.

Physical Requirements of the Line Lead:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to frequently bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive motions.
