Position Summary

We are looking for a dependable and safety-focused Material Handler/Overhead crane operator to join our team at our Winston location. The Material Handler will be responsible for safely moving, loading, unloading, and organizing materials throughout the facility.

The ideal candidate will have experience operating both an overhead crane and forklift and be comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate an overhead crane to move and position materials.
• Operate a forklift to load, unload, transport, and organize materials.
• Move materials between production, storage, and shipping areas.
• Properly stage and organize materials to support production operations.
• Inspect equipment before use and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed.
• Accurately identify and handle various materials and products.
• Communicate effectively with production and warehouse personnel.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous material handling, warehouse, manufacturing, or industrial experience preferred.
• Must have Forklift experience.
• Must Have Overhead crane operating experience.
• Ability to safely lift, move, and handle materials.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to follow instructions and learn company procedures.

Pay

Starting rate: $17.00 per hour, depending on experience.
