Inside Sales / Warehouse Associate
Location: Little Rock, AR
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Starting Pay: $14.00 per hour
Employment Type: Temp-to-Permanent Opportunity
Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Inside Sales/Warehouse Associate to join our team. This role combines customer service, sales support, and warehouse responsibilities within a fast-paced industrial tool distribution environment. The ideal candidate enjoys helping customers, has a strong work ethic, and is comfortable working both at the sales counter and in the warehouse.
Customer service is a critical part of this position, as you will assist customers with product selection, order processing, and ensuring a positive overall experience.
Essential Responsibilities
- Assist customers with product inquiries, orders, and general customer service needs
- Process sales orders accurately and efficiently
- Provide counter sales support for walk-in customers
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers with pricing and product information
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment or pickup
- Operate a forklift to move, organize, and load products safely
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments
- Maintain warehouse organization and inventory accuracy
- Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse regulations
- Work collaboratively with sales and warehouse team members to ensure customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Previous sales, customer service, warehouse, or industrial supply experience preferred
- Forklift experience preferred (or willingness to be trained)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Basic computer skills for order entry and customer transactions
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
