Location: Waterloo, IA
Pay: $16.00-$17.00/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-5:00 PM
Type: Temp-to-Hire Opportunity

Position Overview

Express Employment Professionals in Waterloo is seeking an Industrial Cleaner to join a local team. This position is responsible for industrial cleaning, parts cleaning, repackaging materials, and assisting full-time employees within shop and warehouse environments. The ideal candidate will have general labor experience and be comfortable performing physical work throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform industrial cleaning in shop and warehouse environments
• Repackage parts and materials as needed
• Clean parts for customers and manufacturing operations
• Power wash equipment, work areas, and materials
• Vacuum, dust, and maintain clean workspaces
• Assist full-time employees with daily tasks
• Perform basic maintenance duties as assigned
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Qualifications:

• Previous general labor experience required
• Ability to lift 40-50 lbs regularly
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to follow directions and work independently
• Comfortable working in industrial environments

Equipment Used:

• Power washers
• Industrial vacuums
• Oven burner
• Hand and power tools as needed

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift 40-50 lbs regularly
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift
• Ability to work in a warehouse and shop environment
