Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Diesel Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty diesel trucks and related equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience working on commercial trucks, diesel engines, electrical systems, brakes, transmissions, and hydraulic systems while ensuring all vehicles operate safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on heavy-duty diesel trucks and trailers.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Repair and replace engines, transmissions, clutches, brakes, suspensions, steering components, and fuel systems.
• Conduct inspections to identify safety concerns and maintenance needs.
• Complete DOT inspections and ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations.
• Troubleshoot and repair air brake systems and electrical wiring.
• Perform engine diagnostics and emissions-related repairs.
• Maintain accurate service and repair records.
• Keep work areas clean and follow all workplace safety procedures.
