Summary

In the role of Material Handler/Forklift Operator, you will be essential in ensuring efficient shipping, receiving, and material handling operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment to load and unload materials efficiently.
• Ensure accurate shipping and receiving of goods within the distribution center.
• Adhere to OSHA safety standards while performing tasks.

Skills:

• Proficient in operating various types of forklifts, including cherry pickers, hi-lo, reach trucks, and pallet jacks.
• Experience with materials handling equipment in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
• Ability to safely operate heavy equipment and perform heavy lifting as required.
• Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes and documentation, including pulling orders, put-aways, loading and unloading shipments.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to forklift operation and warehouse safety.
