About the Job

Express Employment Professionals is hiring multiple Seasonal Production & Warehouse Workers for a busy seasonal operation in Tumwater, WA. There are several different assignments available, including outdoor yard work, material handling, packing/loading, and freezer warehouse work.

The season will start out at a slower pace, become very busy during peak production, and then begin slowing down again the week after Thanksgiving. Most days are expected to run approximately 7:00 AM–4:00 PM, with longer days and additional hours during the busiest part of the season. The assignment is currently expected to continue through approximately December 15.

This is a great seasonal opportunity for someone who enjoys staying active, doesn't mind physical work, and can be flexible as production needs and hours increase throughout the season.

Seasonal Positions May Include:

Chipper / Yard Laborer
Work outdoors loading barrels of yard clippings into a commercial chipper, moving and replacing barrels, and keeping the work area organized. This is a physical outdoor position with repetitive lifting and bending. Must be prepared to work outside rain or shine and provide appropriate rain gear.

Unloader / Material Handler
Unload incoming bundles and materials, place them onto rolling carts, and move carts into refrigerated processing areas. This position involves frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, and time spent working in cooler temperatures.

Loader / Packing
Prepare and label boxes, pack finished products according to specifications, stack completed boxes, and load products for shipment. Attention to detail and the ability to maintain a steady pace are important.

Freezer Warehouse Stocker
Move, stock, and organize finished products within a freezer warehouse. This position requires working in refrigerated/freezer temperatures for extended periods while staying active throughout the shift.

There may also be opportunities later in the season for Assembler positions involving hand tools, light power tools, trimming materials, and assembling custom pieces according to provided designs.
