About the Organization
A well-established local nonprofit organization is seeking a Resident Services Coordinator to support individuals living within a residential apartment community in Pullman. This position helps residents access community resources, social services, educational opportunities, and other support while building positive relationships within the community.

The ideal candidate is compassionate, organized, resourceful, and comfortable working directly with residents who may need assistance navigating community programs and services.

- Familiarity with community agencies, social services, and connecting individuals with appropriate resources.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, documentation, and case management skills.
- Valid driver’s license
Job Responsibilities
- Provide case management, resource navigation, and referral services to residents.
- Connect residents with appropriate community agencies, social services, and support programs.
- Coordinate resident services, educational opportunities, and community resources.
- Maintain accurate case notes, resident files, referrals, follow-ups, and HUD-required documentation.
- Collaborate with on-site management, volunteers, and community partners.
- Maintain confidentiality of resident information and follow HIPAA requirements.
- Follow mandated reporting requirements and organizational policies.
- Work collaboratively with the team to support positive resident outcomes.
Qualifications
- Experience in social services, case management, resident services, community outreach, human services, or a related area.
- Familiarity with community agencies and accessing services and resources for individuals in need.
- One year of residential setting experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Services, Human Services, or a related field preferred.
- Strong computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, internet-based programs, and databases.
- Strong written communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive for work purposes.
- Ability to successfully complete applicable background checks.
Physical Requirements
Regularly requires sitting, standing, walking, listening, and communicating. Must be able to frequently lift up to 30 pounds and perform pushing, pulling, carrying, grasping, and reaching. Occasional stooping, kneeling, and crawling may be required.
