GREENSKEEPER

Pay: $14.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM–2:30 PM

Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking reliable and hardworking Greenskeepers for a local opportunity! This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working outdoors, working with their hands, and helping maintain beautiful grounds and landscaping.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Mow greens and maintain turf areas
Rake, grade, and clean bunkers
Load and unload fertilizers and pesticides as directed by a qualified employee
Perform general maintenance duties as directed by the Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent
Operate maintenance equipment and report any equipment deficiencies
Connect hoses and sprinkler systems at designated locations to irrigate turf
Dig and rake ground to prepare greens
Repair and maintain cart paths
Plant, trim, and care for trees and shrubs
Wear and maintain all required safety clothing and equipment
Clean equipment and work areas daily
Maintain a cooperative and professional working relationship with staff and property owners
May be required to drive a company or personal vehicle while conducting business
Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or GED required
Ability to safely operate power equipment and hand tools
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to safety and equipment operation
Reliable with regular and dependable attendance

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to work outdoors and regularly in various weather conditions
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Frequent use of hands and arms to handle equipment and materials
Ability to reach, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, and balance as needed
Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50+ pounds
