Tamping Machine Operator

Located in Spencer, IN

Salary: $17.00 / hr

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Tamping Machine Operator. This position is responsible for producing high-quality architectural cast stone using the dry-tamp process. The ideal candidate will be comfortable performing hands-on production work, operating pneumatic equipment, and maintaining clean molds and work areas.

Job Summary

• Produce high-quality architectural cast stone using the dry-tamp process
• Fill molds with pre-mixed sand and concrete formulas
• Operate a pneumatic ram/tamper to compact materials into molds
• Clean molds between uses to maintain product quality
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow established production procedures and quality standards
• Perform repetitive, hands-on production tasks throughout the shift

Experience Required

• Previous manufacturing, construction, concrete, or production experience is helpful but not required
• Experience operating pneumatic equipment is a plus
• Willingness to learn production processes and equipment

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
