Monday-Friday 8:00 am –4:30 pm / Full-Time

Seeking a Customer Service Representative to join a manufacturing company in the Commerce area. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service and order entry experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers, sales, production, and purchasing. Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:

• Manage customer purchase orders and releases accurately.
• Enter customer sales orders and releases into the customer service management system.
• Ensure the correct part number and revision on customer orders matches the system.
• Track open orders and follow up with production and purchasing regarding order status.
• Communicate with outside sales, customers, production, and other departments.
• Serve as a liaison between production and customer service.
• Enter ASNs on customer websites and communicate shipment information to customers.
• Follow up with customers regarding quotations, samples, literature, new accounts, and other requests.
• Provide backup support for customer service order entry during vacations or absences.
• Provide backup support for the receptionist, including answering phones.
• Assist the quoting department with RFQ entry and sending quotes to customers.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.

Customer Service Representative Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience.
• Experience with data entry and order entry.
• Excellent organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Punctual, dependable, and professional.
• Manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Associate degree is a plus.
