Industrial Facilities Maintenance Technician – 1st Shift

A leading supplier in the Triad is hiring 2 Industrial Facilities Maintenance Technicians to support the maintenance, safety, and overall condition of its facility. This is a great opportunity for an experienced, hands-on maintenance professional with skills across multiple trades—essentially an industrial/commercial handyman who can troubleshoot problems and complete repairs with minimal supervision.

Pay: $20–$26/hr, based on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM OR 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Start: ASAP
Location: Triad Area

Responsibilities:

• Perform general building and facility repairs
• Complete carpentry work including doors, walls, framing, trim, ceilings, and flooring
• Replace light fixtures, bulbs, and basic electrical components
• Troubleshoot minor electrical issues
• Perform minor plumbing repairs, including leaks and fixtures
• Assist with basic HVAC and ventilation maintenance, including filter replacement
• Complete painting and facility finishing projects
• Respond to maintenance requests and identify needed repairs
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and maintenance equipment
• Assist with facility improvement projects and coordinate with outside vendors when needed

Qualifications:

• 2–5+ years of facilities, building, commercial, or industrial maintenance experience preferred
• Experience in multiple trades such as carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC strongly preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Comfortable troubleshooting and completing repairs independently
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to prioritize multiple projects

Physical Requirements:

• Lift and carry up to 40 lbs
• Push and pull up to 75 lbs
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, climb ladders, and work in various positions throughout the shift
