Part Time-Resident Attendant 

$18.42 per hour

 Monday-Saturday, 3pm-11pm, 7am-3pm

A nonprofit organization is looking for a dedicated and dependable Resident Attendant to help maintain a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment for residents in our shelter. This is a hands-on role that involves direct interaction with residents, volunteers, and the public.

Resident Attendant Responsibilities:

• Enforce shelter rules and promote respectful behavior
• Answer incoming phone calls and provide accurate information in English and Spanish
• Monitor the front entrance and manage visitor access
• Assist residents with daily needs and provide guidance as needed
• Supervise and support volunteers during their shifts
• Clean facility areas including common rooms, bathrooms, and dining areas
• Prepare and serve meals according to shelter standards
• Accurately document incidents, resident activities, and facility updates
• Operate phones, cleaning equipment, and kitchen appliances safely and efficiently

Resident Attendant Requirements:

• Experience working in residential, shelter, or social service settings preferred
• Must be Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to stay calm, organized, and focused in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends 
• Reliable, responsible, and committed to supporting individuals in need
