We are seeking a dedicated Assembly - Fixtures technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling fixtures and related components with precision and efficiency, ensuring they meet quality standards and specifications. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the production of high-quality fixtures used across various industrial applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, familiarity with manufacturing processes, and experience working with hand tools and power tools to support efficient assembly operations.

Pay Rate: $20/hour - $22/hour plus 4% vacation pay

Available Shifts: ( must be flexible to work both shifts)

• Days: Mon - Thurs 7am - 4:30pm, Fri 7am - 4:30pm

Duties

• Interpret and follow detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to assemble fixtures accurately.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment to assemble components according to specifications.
• Read and utilize schematics and technical diagrams to ensure proper assembly procedures.
• Conduct quality checks using calipers and other measuring tools to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace adhering to safety standards throughout all assembly processes.
• Assist in the setup and calibration of fixtures using welding, machining, or mechanical knowledge as required.
• Collaborate with team members in a fast-paced environment to meet production deadlines.
• Support warehouse operations by managing inventory of parts, tools, and materials needed for assembly.
• Follow safety protocols diligently when working with power tools, welding equipment, or heavy machinery.

Experience

• Prior experience in manufacturing or assembly environments is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, welding, machining, and fixture assembly.
• Mechanical knowledge related to fixture design, fabrication, or maintenance.
• Experience working with schematics and technical diagrams for assembly tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards in manufacturing processes.
