Warehouse Operator

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable Warehouse Operator to support warehouse, manufacturing, shipping, receiving, and material handling operations in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment. This position requires forklift operation, attention to detail, basic math skills, documentation accuracy, and the ability to follow food safety, health safety, GMP, and PPE requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow all on-site food safety, health safety, GMP, and PPE requirements.

  • Operate a forklift to move palletized products and totes.

  • Operate material handling equipment for product movement.

  • Receive and document bulk and palletized shipments.

  • Inspect incoming packages for damage or improper documentation.

  • Inspect incoming bulk tankers for improper washing or documentation.

  • Prepare, document, and ship transfer trucks with bulk and palletized product.

  • Document shipments in an organized and efficient manner.

  • Use email to communicate with the operations team.

  • Print documentation and labels for order preparation and batch manufacturing.

  • Package and label 55-gallon drums and totes of product.

  • Prepare pallets of 55-gallon drums using steel straps and shipping labels.

  • Set up bulk liquid transfers using hoses and pumps safely.

  • Blend products in tanks, totes, and drums using liquid and solid components measured according to batch tickets.

  • Collect samples to support formulations and quality.

  • Clean up spills using absorbent pads and sump pumps.

  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements

  • Forklift experience required.

  • Warehouse, manufacturing, shipping, receiving, or material handling experience preferred.

  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.

  • Ability to document shipments accurately and efficiently.

  • Ability to follow batch tickets, labels, and work instructions.

  • Ability to use email and print documentation and labels.

  • Must be comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment.

  • Must be able to follow food safety, GMP, PPE, and workplace safety procedures.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Work Environment

This position works in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment. Duties may involve working around forklifts, palletized products, totes, 55-gallon drums, bulk liquid transfers, hoses, pumps, absorbent pads, sump pumps, and manufacturing materials. Required PPE must be worn as directed.

Schedule

7 Night On and 7 Nights Off - 6PM - 6AM

Pay Rate

$20 - $25/hr. based on Experience
