Summary:
Seeking an experienced CNC Machine Operator (MMO III) to set up, operate, monitor, and make minor program adjustments on CNC equipment used in the production of precision steel components. This role requires strong machining knowledge, blueprint reading skills, attention to quality standards, and the ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Operate CNC machining equipment to produce precision steel components while maintaining quality standards.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings to ensure accurate production.
  • Make minor CNC program edits, machine adjustments, tool changes, and routine setups as needed.
  • Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
  • Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot basic issues, and maintain accurate production and quality records.
Qualifications:
  • Previous CNC machine operating experience required, including minor program edits and machine adjustments.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, manufacturing drawings, and work instructions.
  • Experience using precision measuring tools and conducting quality inspections.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Manufacturing or heavy industrial experience preferred; forklift experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
  • Frequently lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, noise, and varying temperatures.
