Schedule/Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (1st Shift)
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire
 
Summary:
The MMO II – Paint Manual Operator is responsible for preparing, handling, and painting steel components while ensuring products meet quality standards and customer specifications. This role involves loading and unloading steel parts, operating material handling equipment, and maintaining a safe and organized work area. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload, prepare, and stage steel components for painting and production processes.
  • Apply paint and protective coatings according to production requirements, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move materials throughout the facility when needed.
  • Inspect finished products for proper coverage, appearance, and overall quality.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while supporting production goals.
Qualifications:
  • Manufacturing or industrial experience preferred.
  • Forklift experience preferred.
  • Ability to safely lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and workplace safety.
  • Dependable attendance and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.

Physical Requirements:
  • Stand and walk for the majority of the shift.
  • Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Perform repetitive movements using hands and arms.
  • Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, noise, dust, and industrial equipment.
