Job Title: MMO II – Weld ARM Operator

Pay Rate: $18.50+/hour
Schedule/Shift: Monday-Friday, 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM (2nd Shift)
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire
 
Summary:
The MMO II – Weld ARM Operator is responsible for applying weld carbide material to steel wear parts and components to improve durability and extend product life. This position requires the ability to read blueprints, follow production specifications, perform basic welding functions, and maintain high quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Apply weld carbide materials to steel components according to engineering and customer specifications.
  • Set up, operate, and monitor ARM welding equipment while ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and production drawings to complete work accurately.
  • Inspect completed parts for dimensional accuracy and weld quality using measuring tools and gauges.
  • Follow all safety procedures while working collaboratively with production, quality, and maintenance teams.
Qualifications:
  • Previous manufacturing experience required.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Experience using measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and gauges.
  • Basic welding experience and knowledge of GD&T preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and commitment to workplace safety.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
  • Frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
  • Regular bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, noise, sparks, and moving equipment.
  • Must be able to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and steel-toed boots.
