Job Title: MMO III – CNC/CDP Line Operator
City and State: Crystal Lake, IL
Pay Rate: $18.50 - $20.50/hour
Schedule/Shift: 2nd Shift, Monday-Friday, 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire
Summary:
We are seeking an experienced MMO III – CNC/CDP Line Operator to support production operations by setting up, operating, and monitoring CNC drilling and processing equipment used in the manufacture of steel cutting edges, wear parts, and fabricated components. The ideal candidate will have experience with CNC drilling equipment, strong blueprint-reading skills, and a commitment to safety, quality, and productivity.
Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC/CDP line equipment, Moline drills, rail drills, and similar manufacturing machinery.
- Set up machines according to production specifications, work orders, and engineering drawings.
- Verify dimensions and product quality using measuring instruments and inspection tools.
- Monitor machine performance, make adjustments as needed, and perform routine maintenance.
- Maintain production records while following safety procedures and housekeeping standards.
Qualifications:
- Experience operating a Moline Drill, rail drill, CNC drill, CNC machine, or similar manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and production documents.
- Experience in manufacturing, metal fabrication, or heavy industrial environments preferred.
- Proficiency using measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and gauges.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and commitment to workplace safety.
