Risk Services Administrator I

Location: Prineville, OR
Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour DOE
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday (40 hours per week)

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Risk Services Administrator I to support claims administration, risk management operations, and insurance-related processes. This role serves as a key point of contact for customers, claimants, vendors, and internal stakeholders while ensuring accurate claim documentation, administrative support, and timely resolution of risk-related matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, review, and process incoming claims and incident reports.
  • Maintain accurate claim files, records, and supporting documentation.
  • Provide professional customer service and respond to inquiries regarding claims and insurance matters.
  • Enter and manage claim data within risk management systems.
  • Support adjusters with documentation, correspondence, payment processing, and claim follow-up activities.
  • Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and other administrative documents.
  • Manage department mail, email communications, and document distribution.
  • Assist with insurance certificates, compliance reporting, and policy administration.
  • Coordinate meetings, schedules, and special projects as assigned.
  • Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of all records and information.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Associate degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Insurance, or a related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in administrative support, customer service, claims administration, insurance, risk management, or a related office environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with claims management, document management, or risk management systems preferred.
  • Strong data entry and recordkeeping skills.
