Lake Charles, LA | Part-Time Temporary | $20/Hr.
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Customer Service Associate for a part-time temporary position. We are looking for the right person who provides excellent customer service and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Additional hours may be available.
Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally
Assist customers by phone, at the counter, and in the showroom
Enter customer orders accurately and efficiently
Follow up on special orders, backorders, quotes, and open sales orders
Provide product information, pricing, warranties, and related materials
Communicate with customers and Territory Managers regarding orders
Process retail payments and refunds
Monitor inventory and communicate low-stock or sold-out items to management
Assist with daily branch tasks as directed by management
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
Strong communication and organizational skills
Self-starter with excellent customer service skills
1–3 years of related experience preferred, but not required
Building materials or residential roofing industry experience preferred
Ability to work professionally with customers and team members
