OVERVIEW

Express is seeking a Skilled Carpenter performs a variety of carpentry and construction tasks, including measuring, cutting, assembling, framing, and installing materials. The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of experience, strong carpentry skills, and experience with wood and metal wall systems.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform general carpentry, framing, and installation tasks.
• Lay out and build wood and metal walls.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment.
• Accurately use a tape measure, square, and level.
• Follow project plans, specifications, and Lead Foreman direction.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Ensure work meets quality, safety, and compliance standards.

REQUIREMENTS

• 2–3 years of carpentry experience preferred.
• Knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools.
• Basic hand tools and experience with wood and metal framing.
• Proficient with tape measure, square, level, and power tools.
• Able to lift/carry up to 100 lbs. and work at heights up to 20 feet.
• Must qualify for Fort Bragg access; waiver may be considered.
• Valid Driver’s License with REAL ID required.
• Must pass E-Verify and background checks.
• Safety certifications and trim carpentry experience are a plus.
