Diesel Mechanic
New Iberia, LA | Full-Time | Starting at $25/Hr. DOE
We are hiring a Diesel Mechanic in New Iberia, Louisiana. We are looking for someone with experience servicing commercial vehicles, trucks, and trailers. The ideal candidate will also have experience troubleshooting electrical and A/C systems and performing brake and wheel seal repairs.
Duties

Service and maintain commercial vehicles, trucks, and trailers

Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues

Diagnose and troubleshoot A/C systems
-
Repair and replace wheel seals
-
Perform brake repairs on trucks and trailers
-
Complete general mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance
-
Inspect equipment and identify needed repairs
Requirements
-
Previous commercial vehicle or truck mechanic experience preferred

Experience with electrical troubleshooting

Experience with A/C troubleshooting

Knowledge of wheel seals and brake systems
-
Ability to perform mechanical repairs on trucks and trailers

Dependable and able to work independently
