Janitor-Maintenance role $22/hour!

 

Do you love to clean? Do you take pride in your work? Do you have drive, ambition, and some PEP IN YOUR STEP? Then we have the job for you! We are looking for Full Time Building/Grounds Maintenance Assistant and all-around handyman. You will work with the Building and Grounds/ Maintenance Manager to maintain the overall appearance of the facility by performing general cleaning tasks and small repairs.

Primary Responsibilities:

80% cleaning/20% light maintenance

• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, or scrubbing
• Clean warehouse racking and equipment
• Gather and empty trash
• General maintenance
• Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs
• Changing batteries for forklifts

Qualifications:

• Must be mechanically inclined
• Forklift experience a plus
• Must have common sense
• Previous related work experience
• Ability to pay close attention to detail and work with others
• Maintain a clean and safe environment
• Follow instructions and ask questions
• Forklift experience preferred
• General awareness of everyday experiences

Physical Demands and Abilities

• Lifting up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in varying temperatures (this is a cold storage facility)
• Physical ability to do A LOT of walking
