Pay: $20/hour
Schedule: Full-time

Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to set up and operate CNC precision sheet metal press brakes, ensuring parts are produced accurately and meet required quality and tolerance specifications. This role is responsible for maintaining equipment and tooling, managing production schedules, and ensuring finished parts meet quality standards while supporting overall production goals.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate Amada CNC precision sheet metal press brakes
  • Read and interpret mechanical blueprints and precision sheet metal requirements
  • Use tape measures, calipers, and other precision measuring tools to maintain quality
  • Monitor production schedules and notify the supervisor if production goals cannot be met
  • Shear backup strips when needed to support production requirements
  • Inspect parts produced by the machine to ensure they meet tolerance and quality specifications
  • Maintain press brake equipment and tooling
  • Request replacement tooling from the supervisor when needed
  • Perform deburring and finishing using appropriate hand tools
  • Maintain efficient use of supplies and production time
  • Minimize scrap and rework while meeting daily production and on-time delivery goals
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Work collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively with supervisors

Requirements

  • Previous experience operating Amada precision press brakes
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting mechanical blueprints
  • Ability to use precision measurement tools to maintain quality
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to manage priorities in a busy production environment
  • Hardworking, dependable, and dedicated to completing assigned work
  • Good attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to work overtime, including Saturdays, when needed
  • Ability to stand for an entire shift
  • Ability to regularly lift and handle 30–50 pounds
  • Ability to perform repetitive bending and reaching
  • Strong manual dexterity for handling and positioning sheet metal parts
