Must have an active North Carolina Professional Engineer (PE) license to be considered.

We are looking for an experienced Civil Engineer / Senior Project Manager who is ready to take full ownership of land development projects from concept through construction.

This is a leadership-level opportunity for someone who enjoys managing complex projects, building strong client relationships, mentoring team members, and helping guide project outcomes from start to finish.

What You’ll Do

• Lead civil and land development projects as Engineer of Record and Project Manager
• Take ownership of project quality, timelines, budgets, and client satisfaction
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, municipalities, and regulatory agencies
• Lead and mentor Assistant Project Managers and technical staff
• Design and review plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Work with grading, erosion control, subdivisions, water, sewer, stormwater, and final plats
• Coordinate permitting and approvals with local and state agencies
• Represent projects in meetings with clients, boards, agencies, and other stakeholders

What We’re Looking For

• Active North Carolina PE license required
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
• 10+ years of land development engineering experience
• At least 3 years of project leadership or people management experience
• Strong AutoCAD Civil 3D experience
• Strong client communication and project management skills
• Valid driver’s license

Preferred Experience

• Experience with Ajera or similar project financial software
• Background in client-facing consulting
• Familiarity with land surveying principles
