Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Tax Preparer for a client located in the East Metro. This is a great opportunity for an experienced tax professional looking for a Monday–Friday schedule with a well-established organization.

Position Details

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Location: East Metro
• Pay: $20-$25/hr
• Start Date: ASAP
• Experience Required: Minimum 3 years of tax preparation experience

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare individual and business tax returns accurately and efficiently
• Review financial records, income statements, deductions, and supporting documentation
• Ensure tax returns comply with applicable federal and state regulations
• Identify potential tax issues and opportunities for clients
• Communicate with clients to obtain necessary tax information and documentation
• Maintain accurate and organized tax files and records
• Stay current on changes to tax laws, regulations, and filing requirements
• Assist with other tax-related duties as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience preparing individual and business tax returns
• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Proficiency with tax preparation software and Microsoft Office
• Accounting, Finance, or related education is preferred
