Production Worker

Location: Lewiston, ID
Pay: $18.50/HR
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM | schedule may fluctuate based on production needs

Production Worker Opportunity

We are hiring reliable Production Workers to join a local paper mill operation. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, working in a production environment, and developing new skills within a manufacturing setting.

This role will primarily support production operations by handling paper materials, assisting with the waste and converting processes, and helping keep production running efficiently. Candidates with experience in manufacturing, warehouse operations, production lines, material handling, or forklift operation are encouraged to apply.

Production or line experience
Forklift experience or willingness to learn

Key Responsibilities

Sort and load paper materials onto conveyors for processing and shredding
Support production and converting operations
Move and organize materials throughout the production area
Follow safety and production procedures
Assist with general production and warehouse tasks as needed
Learn forklift operation and become forklift certified when eligible

Qualifications & Skills

Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
Willingness to learn new processes and equipment
Ability to follow directions and safety procedures

Preferred Experience

Production or manufacturing experience
Warehouse experience
Material handling experience
Forklift experience preferred but not required

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to stand and move throughout the entire shift
Frequent lifting, carrying, bending, and reaching
Comfortable working in an industrial manufacturing environment
