Express Employment Professionals, Laguna Hills is recruiting for a Landscape Construction Project Manager for a growing company specializing in high-end outdoor living and landscape construction projects.

Service Line: Direct Hire, Full-time
Pay: $85,000–$110,000/year
Location: San Diego & Orange County – Field-Based
Schedule: Regular travel between active job sites required
Responsibilities:

* Manage landscape construction projects from pre-construction through completion.
* Review contracts, construction plans, project scope, timelines, and site conditions.
* Coordinate bidding, estimating, subcontractor selection, and vendor negotiations.
* Lead project kick-off meetings and coordinate with Sales, Design, Estimating, Procurement, and Construction teams.
* Review plans and coordinate permitting, engineering, inspections, and code compliance.
* Visit multiple active job sites to monitor progress, quality, safety, and schedule.
* Manage subcontractors and vendors and resolve field issues.
* Track project budgets, payment schedules, change orders, and financial risks.
* Serve as the primary client contact during construction and provide regular project updates.
* Coordinate final inspections, project closeout, and warranty follow-up.
* Conduct post-project reviews and identify opportunities for improvement.
Requirements:

* Experience in construction, project management, general contracting, skilled trades, or a related field.
* Landscape construction experience is a plus but not required.
* Ability to read and understand construction drawings, scopes of work, sequencing, and field conditions.
* Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
* Experience with estimating, bidding, purchasing, subcontractors, permitting, or inspections is preferred.
* Strong problem-solving, leadership, accountability, and decision-making skills.
* Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Drive; experience with Bluebeam or project management software is a plus.
* Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly between job sites.
* Ability to work outdoors and walk, stand, bend, kneel, and climb on uneven terrain.
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
