Truss Builder

Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Truss Builder for a local company!

Are you reliable, hardworking, and safety-minded? We are seeking motivated individuals to join a fast-paced production team building trusses and other wood products. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on construction experience. Knowledge of framing or construction is a plus, but no previous experience or diploma is required.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply!

Pay: $23.00/hr
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Assemble trusses and other building components according to specifications.
• Place parts in proper position and secure using bolts, clips, screws, adhesives, and other fasteners.
• Measure and cut materials to required dimensions.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, saws, and production equipment safely.
• Inspect products and remove defective materials as needed.
• Work at various stations based on production demands.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Construction or framing knowledge preferred, but not required.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Strong work ethic with a sense of urgency.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Dependable attendance and commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Continuous standing and walking throughout the shift.
• Frequent lifting of 50-100 lbs.
• Continuous lifting and moving of materials up to 25 lbs.
• Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday.
