Job Overview: The Tubing Mill Operator will be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of tubing mill machinery to produce high-quality tubing products according to specifications. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of our tubing manufacturing processes. Leadership background is required for this position. 

 

Responsibilities:

1. Machine Setup:

• Configure and set up the tubing mill machine based on job specifications.
• Adjust machine settings to achieve the desired dimensions and tolerances for tubing.

1. Material Handling:

• Load raw materials onto the tubing mill machine and ensure a continuous and smooth material flow.
• Monitor material levels and replenish as needed.

1. Quality Control:

• Conduct regular quality checks on produced tubing to ensure they meet specifications.
• Make adjustments to the machine as necessary to maintain product quality.

1. Maintenance and Repairs:

• Perform routine maintenance on the tubing mill machine to ensure optimal performance.
• Identify and address any issues that may arise during the production process.

1. Safety Compliance:

• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Identify and report any safety hazards or concerns.

1. Production Documentation:

• Record production data, including quantities produced, machine settings, and any issues encountered.
• Complete production reports and maintain accurate records.

1. Collaboration:

• Work closely with other team members to achieve production goals.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to ensure a smooth workflow.

Qualifications:

1. Experience:

• Proven experience as a Tubing Mill Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with the operation and maintenance of tubing mill machines.

1. Technical Skills:

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

1. Attention to Detail:

• Precision and attention to detail to produce tubing within specified tolerances.
• Quality-conscious approach to work.

1. Physical Fitness:

• Ability to lift and move materials as needed.
• Stamina and endurance for extended periods of machine operation.
• Typical Warehouse Environment-Cold in the winter and hot in the summer (Warehouse doors open all the time)

1. Team Player:

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to collaborate with colleagues to achieve production targets.
