Salary: $17-$18/hr

Our client, a wholesale construction and landscaping supply company in Northeast San Antonio is looking for a Shipping and Receiving Warehouse Worker for a 1 to 3-month opportunity that could lead to permanent employment. Pay is $17-$18/hr an hour. Work hours are Monday to Friday: 7:30am to 5pm. Minimum of 40 hours each week, possibly up to 45 hours.  Duties for the Shipping and Receiving Warehouse Worker includes:

Receiving

• Unload Trucks: delivering raw materials, inventory, or packages
• Inspect incoming goods for accuracy against packing slips and check for damages
• Log materials into the company’s inventory software
• Move items to designated warehouse slots

Shipping:

• Pick and stage outgoing wholesale products according to scheduled delivery times
• Wrap, pack, and label goods securely to prevent transit damage
• Load delivery trucks safely

Requirements for the Shipping and Receiving Warehouse Worker are:

• Physically fit, hot, heavy lifting
• Able to work independently on given tasks
• Forklift experience not required but desired
