Express Employment Professionals is recruiting an experienced Welder for a local scrap yard company.

We’re looking for someone who knows their way around a welding hood and can prove they have the skills to get the job done right. This position requires hands-on welding experience and the ability to work safely in a busy industrial environment.

🛠️ What You’ll Do

• Perform welding repairs and fabrication on equipment, containers, structures, and other metal components
• Inspect welds and completed work for strength and quality
• Measure, cut, fit, and prepare metal for welding
• Repair damaged or worn metal parts as needed
• Assist with fabrication projects and equipment modifications
• Use grinders, torches, saws, and other shop tools
• Follow safety procedures while working around heavy equipment and scrap materials
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

✅ What We’re Looking For

• Proven welding experience required
• Strong hands-on welding skills
• Ability to produce clean, durable, quality welds
• Fabrication experience strongly preferred
• Experience working with different types and thicknesses of metal
• Ability to read measurements and understand basic fabrication requirements
• Comfortable working in an industrial/scrap yard environment
• Dependable, safety-minded, and able to work independently

💰 Pay Based on Your Skills

Starting pay will depend on experience, welding ability, and fabrication knowledge.

Highly skilled and experienced welders can earn up to $30/hour.
