Express Employment Professionals is recruiting a CDL A or CDL B Driver for a local fabrication company.

If you’re an experienced commercial driver looking for a local route with no long-haul travel, this could be a great fit. This position will primarily involve hauling scrap material around St. Joseph and making runs between St. Joseph and Kansas City.

🚚 What You’ll Do

• Haul scrap metal and materials to local destinations
• Make regular runs between St. Joseph and Kansas City
• Safely operate company trucks and equipment
• Perform basic pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Secure loads and follow all DOT and company safety procedures
• Maintain accurate delivery and transportation documentation
• Communicate with the shop and yard regarding pickups and deliveries
• Assist with other transportation-related duties as needed

✅ What We’re Looking For

• Valid CDL Class A or Class B
• Safe and responsible driving record
• Previous commercial driving experience preferred
• Ability to safely haul scrap and heavy materials
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe load practices
• Dependable attendance and strong communication skills
• Comfortable driving in both city and highway traffic
• Must be able to work independently and stay on schedule
