Salary: $25/hr plus commission

Express Employment Professionals, Laguna Hills is recruiting for a Cabinet Designer to join a growing, stylish showroom specializing in Italian interior design products.

Service Line: Evaluation to Hire, Full-time
Schedule: M–F, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM

Responsibilities:

* Create custom cabinet and 3D designs for showroom clients.
* Learn and use the company’s specialized 3D design software.
* Work closely with the owner, design team, and clients to develop design concepts.
* Communicate with clients and provide a high level of customer service.
* Manage schedules, follow up with clients, and meet deadlines.
* Stay current on design trends, products, and industry innovations.
* Assist with website and social media updates as needed.
* Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
* Attend company meetings, training sessions, and industry events.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workspace.

Requirements:

* 3+ years of kitchen design and sales experience required.
* Background or education in interior design, architecture, or a related field.
* Strong communication, customer service, and follow-up skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and a strong eye for color and design.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong organizational and time-management skills.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced and growing environment.
* SketchUp or other 3D design software experience is a plus.
* Photography skills are a plus.
* Professional appearance and positive attitude.
* Must be comfortable attending training, meetings, and occasional industry events or out-of-state travel.
