Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and vehicle inspections to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using automotive schematics, diagnostic tools, and technical expertise.
• Repair or replace automotive components including brakes, suspension systems, shocks & struts, transmissions, powertrain elements, and diesel engines.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and mechanical knowledge to complete repairs efficiently.
• Interpret technical manuals and schematics accurately for precise repairs on various vehicle makes and models.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.
• Maintain detailed service records and ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Assist with vehicle inspections, alignments, wheel balancing, and auto body repairs as needed.
• Support team collaboration by sharing knowledge of automotive electrical systems, heavy equipment mechanics, and other specialized areas.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working as an automotive mechanic within a dealership or independent repair shop. 3 years min with your own tools.
• Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems including powertrain, transmissions, brakes, suspension, electrical systems, and diesel engines.
• Hands-on experience with wheel alignment, tire service, shocks & struts replacement, welding techniques, and auto body repair.
• Ability to read technical manuals accurately and troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently.
