CONSTRUCTION FIRE WATCH / GENERAL LABORER

🔥 $21.00 PER HOUR
📍 Umatilla, OR
🕕 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
🔄 ON-CALL POSITION

We’re looking for a safety-minded, dependable individual to work as a Fire Watch during welding and other hot-work activities on a construction site.

🔥 WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

• Monitor welding and other hot-work activities for potential fire hazards
• Maintain continuous observation of the work area
• Respond quickly to any signs of fire or unsafe conditions
• Use a fire extinguisher when necessary and appropriate
• Communicate safety concerns to the crew
• Monitor the surrounding environment for potential hazards
• Assist construction workers with general labor duties during downtime
• Help maintain a safe and organized work area

⭐ WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS:

✅ Experience using a fire extinguisher
✅ Strong observation and attention-to-detail skills
✅ Good communication skills
✅ Strong safety awareness
✅ Ability to recognize and respond to potential hazards
✅ Understanding of basic fire behavior and emergency response
✅ Ability to remain alert and focused for extended periods
✅ Willingness to assist with general labor duties when needed
