Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Overtime: Overtime and occasional Saturday work may be required

Industrial Electrician Opportunity

A growing manufacturing operation is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician / Industrial Electrician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plant electrical systems, production machinery, and industrial equipment.

This is a hands-on electrical maintenance position requiring proven industrial experience with 3-phase power, 120V–480V electrical systems, transformers, PLCs, and motor controls.

 

 

What You'll Do

• Troubleshoot, repair, install, test, and maintain 120V–480V electrical systems
• Diagnose electrical failures on industrial production machinery and equipment
• Work with 3-phase high-voltage electrical systems
• Troubleshoot and maintain PLCs and industrial control systems
• Diagnose and repair motor controls, motors, starters, relays, contactors, and related components
• Work with transformers, circuit breakers, electrical panels, and distribution equipment
• Install and connect electrical wiring, equipment, fixtures, and components
• Test electrical circuits for proper operation, continuity, and safety
• Use multimeters, voltmeters, ohmmeters, oscilloscopes, and other electrical testing equipment
• Bend conduit and perform electrical installations using hand and power tools
• Inspect electrical systems for hazards, defects, and needed repairs
• Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and determine root causes
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production equipment
• Identify potentially unsafe equipment conditions and communicate concerns to management
• Complete assigned maintenance and repair work accurately and efficiently
• Follow applicable electrical codes, OSHA requirements, lockout/tagout procedures, and plant safety practices
• Assist with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe work area

Required Experience

Candidates should have:

• 2+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience, preferably supporting production or manufacturing machinery
• Proven 3-phase electrical experience
• Strong working knowledge of 120V–480V systems
• Experience with transformers
• PLC troubleshooting experience
• Motor control troubleshooting and repair experience
• Experience diagnosing electrical problems using electrical testing equipment
• Ability to read and understand electrical diagrams, schematics, and equipment documentation
• Experience working safely around industrial machinery and electrical systems
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and complete repairs in a timely manner

Important: This position requires hands-on industrial electrical troubleshooting experience. Candidates whose experience is primarily entry-level or apprentice-level electrical work may not have the electrical maintenance background required for this role.
