Seasonal Customer Service Representatives

Express Employment Professionals is currently recruiting Seasonal Customer Service Representatives on behalf of a client in Marshall, TX.

 

Pay

$16.00–$17.00 per hour, depending on experience

 

Schedule

The regular schedule is Monday through Friday, with select Saturdays required during November and December based on staffing needs and order volume.

 

Our client would ideally like to hire  full-time employees, but will consider qualified part-time candidates who are a good fit.

 

Preferred staggered schedules include:

• 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
• 9:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Extended hours and/or overtime may be required during peak seasonal periods.

Job Duties

Seasonal Customer Service Representatives will primarily be responsible for:

• Answering incoming customer calls using an established script
• Accurately entering customer orders received by phone into Shopify
• Verifying products, quantities, shipping addresses, gift messages, payment information, and requested delivery dates/timing
• Responding to routine product, order-status, and shipping questions
• Assisting with authorized order corrections and changes
• Escalating customer complaints, issues, and exceptions to a supervisor
• Protecting confidential customer and payment information
• Maintaining a professional and helpful demeanor throughout customer interactions

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will:

• Be comfortable communicating with customers by phone
• Have strong attention to detail and accurate data-entry skills
• Be comfortable working with Windows-based computers
• Be able to remain professional, organized, and accurate in a high-volume call environment
• Have strong customer service and communication skills
• Be dependable and able to work the required seasonal schedule

Prior Shopify or e-commerce order-entry experience is helpful but not required. Training will be provided on company-specific systems and procedures.
