Express Employment Professionals is recruiting for an experienced Adjuster / Maintenance Technician to support a fast-paced manufacturing operation in Everett, WA. This hands-on role is responsible for machine setup, equipment operation, troubleshooting, quality monitoring, and routine maintenance to ensure efficient production and minimal downtime.

The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, enjoys working directly with production equipment, and can effectively balance machine operation, adjustments, quality control, and maintenance responsibilities throughout the shift.

Starting pay is $28 - $32 per hour, depending on experience. 

Available Shifts

This manufacturing facility operates three shifts:

• 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
• 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Employees will be assigned to a specific shift and serve as a primary machine support resource during that shift.

Essential Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate production machinery for assigned jobs
• Perform job changeovers and prepare equipment for production runs
• Monitor machine performance, product quality, and production output
• Make machine adjustments to ensure products meet quality and specification requirements
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and identify root causes of production interruptions
• Perform routine maintenance, equipment cleaning, and minor repairs
• Report maintenance concerns and assist with corrective actions to reduce downtime
• Read and follow production specifications and job requirements
• Complete production records, quality documentation, and required reports
• Follow all safety procedures and standard operating practices
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Collaborate with production team members to meet production goals and deadlines

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating, adjusting, setting up, or maintaining manufacturing equipment preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Experience in manufacturing, packaging, printing, converting, or production environments preferred
• Ability to diagnose and resolve machine-related issues with minimal supervision
• Comfortable performing both machine operation and maintenance duties
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Effective communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work assigned shifts, overtime, and additional hours as needed
• Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift up to 50 pounds

• Machine setup and job changeovers
• High-speed manufacturing or packaging equipment
• Preventive maintenance programs
• Mechanical troubleshooting and repair
• Continuous production environments
