Schedule: Part-Time, Monday–Friday, 4:00–5:00 AM start time; ending around 10:00 AM–12:00 PM depending on daily needs

Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire (may transition to full-time based on business needs)

 

Inventory Specialist

Our client in Bannockburn is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Inventory Specialist to support their cycle counting and inventory accuracy processes. This role focuses on counting sporting goods items, performing data entry, and ensuring inventory records remain precise and up to date. The ideal candidate is flexible, computer-efficient, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily cycle counts of sporting goods inventory
• Accurately count, verify, and record item quantities
• Perform data entry and update inventory information in computer systems
• Identify discrepancies and report inventory issues to leadership
• Maintain organization and cleanliness in inventory areas
• Follow company safety procedures and inventory guidelines
• Assist with additional inventory or warehouse tasks as needed

 

Ideal Candidate:

• Flexible and able to adapt to changing daily needs
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Computer efficient with solid data entry skills
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs when needed
• Comfortable working independently and in a team environment
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive counting tasks throughout the shift
