Job Overview
We are seeking dependable, experienced skilled labor personnel to assist with the fabrication, assembly, and light manufacturing of Mobile Education Labs. The successful candidates will work as part of a production team performing fabrication, installation, assembly, finishing, and general manufacturing activities. This is a short-term position intended to support active production schedules and project completion requirements. 

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the fabrication and assembly of Mobile Education Labs.

• Measure, mark, cut, drill, fasten, and assemble materials according to specifications.

• Accurately use tape measures, levels, squares, calipers, and other common measuring tools.

• Operate hand and power tools safely, including drills, impact drivers, saws, grinders, and sanders.

• Install structural components, wall panels, cabinetry, workstations, equipment supports, flooring, trim, doors, and other interior or exterior components.

• Assist experienced tradespeople with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, welding, and equipment-installation activities as assigned.

• Perform material handling, component preparation, equipment positioning, and production-area organization. CONNECTED Engineering is seeking dependable, experienced skilled labor personnel to assist with the fabrication, assembly, and light manufacturing of Mobile Education Labs.

 

Requirements

• Previous skilled work experience in fabrication, construction, manufacturing, mechanical assembly, carpentry, metalworking, equipment installation, or related field.

• Experience safely operating common hand tools and power tools.

• Good verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a production team.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.

• Dependable attendance, punctuality, and willingness to complete assigned work.

• Ability to work independently after receiving appropriate instructions.

Experience:

·         Must have over 1 year experience

Schedule & Pay

·          $20.00hr.

·          7AM - 4PM   M-F

Education:

·         High School diploma or equivalent required

Language:

• Ability to understand, speak, and read English clearly.
